the fourth Valdai Symposium on Sino-Russian Relations

On April 4-5, 2017, the fourth Valdai Symposium on Sino-Russian Relations was held in Moscow. The symposium was jointly hosted by the Center for Russian Studies at East China Normal University and Russia’s Valdai Club. In his address, Professor Feng Shaolei, director of the Center for Russian Studies at ECNU, emphasized that the Sino-Russian relationship has been one of the most important bilateral relationships in contemporary international politics and has exerted a profound impact on world affairs. He also expressed hope that this symposium would help to further the development of Sino-Russian relations in a pragmatic and effective way.
